A state of complete well-being is the ultimate goal of a person’s life. The World Health Organization defines health as a state of complete well-being, characterized by a lack of disease or infirmity. While many different definitions have been used over time, the World Health Organization’s definition remains the most commonly accepted. The World Bank defines health as the absence of pain, discomfort, or debilitating conditions, such as heart disease.
While some factors influence health, most are caused by individual choices. For example, an unhealthy diet can be detrimental to your health. Lifestyle choices, such as physical exercise, can also affect your health. Changing unhealthy behaviors can improve your health and help you stay active. Eating a balanced diet and getting plenty of sleep are some of the most effective ways to keep your body healthy. The WorldHealth Organization also recommends that you get plenty of rest, and avoid alcohol and tobacco use.
While some people consider the World Health Organisation’s definition of health to be ambitious, it is important to note that the organisation has a long history of incorporating the social, economic, and psychological aspects of disease. As a result, a health examination will most likely involve a series of tests, including blood tests, laboratory analysis, and clinical assessments. Furthermore, the WHO constitution states that “enjoy the highest attainable standard of health is a fundamental human right.”
