Three Main Articles of the Public Health

Health is a condition of mental, physical and social well being in which infirmity and illness are absent. It also includes physiological and biochemical balance that contributes to the maintenance of health. The concept of health is an essential part of the contemporary human rights practice as it guarantees protection from physical and mental disorders and their consequences. In the United States, the concept of health has been repeatedly interpreted as a right that is protected against undue treatment and involuntary servitude.

The three main articles of the personal health are: good nutrition, regular exercise and adequate sleep. These articles can be supplemented by other minor articles that promote general health like avoiding unsafe sex practices, exercising regularly and consuming a good diet. Good nutrition is essential for nutrition-guided medicine that concentrates on achieving the three main articles of the personal health. However, with the growth of technology, some of these three articles have been weakened as some modern diseases are associated with poor nutrition.

The other main article of the personal health is the prevention of disease through vaccination and clean habits and healthy living. The development of a disease-free population through vaccination has increased the general level of general well being, though at the cost of reducing personal protection against diseases. Vaxamine, a new vaccine recommended by the World Health Organization is aiming to strengthen the three main articles of the public health. By preventing diseases that spread through infection and other causes, Vaxamine is also preventing deaths from preventable diseases such as AIDS and other killer illnesses that have been increasing over the last fifty years.
